Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Ixian Labs ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Anyone's Guess mobile applications and website at https://anyonesguess.app (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

When you create an account using email and password, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple, we collect and store:

• Your email address
• Your display name
• An optional profile photo (stored in Firebase Storage)
• A unique Firebase user ID that identifies your account

Gameplay data

To operate the prediction game, we store data you generate while using the Service, including:

• Match predictions you submit
• League memberships and the leagues you create or join
• Scores, points, and competitive ELO / ranked statistics

Purchases and subscriptions

When you buy in-app items or subscriptions, our payment processors (RevenueCat on iOS and Android, and Stripe Checkout on web) process the transaction and provide us with purchase and entitlement records. We do not receive or store your full payment card numbers; these are handled directly by the relevant app store or payment processor.

Advertising and device identifiers

On mobile, the Service may use Google AdMob to show rewarded ads and in-feed native ads. On the web, we may use Google Ad Manager. Where permitted and where you have consented, advertising partners may use device identifiers (such as a mobile advertising ID) to deliver and measure ads. Users with an active Pro subscription or an ad-free entitlement do not see ads.

Push notification tokens

If you opt in to notifications, we store a Firebase Cloud Messaging token so we can send match reminders and related alerts. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

Analytics

We do not run analytics beyond the default reporting provided by Firebase and AdMob.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and maintain your account and authenticate you
• Operate the prediction game, leagues, scoring, and leaderboards
• Process purchases and manage subscription entitlements
• Display advertising (to users who are not ad-free) subject to your consent
• Send match reminders and notifications you have opted into
• Maintain the security and integrity of the Service
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on the following third-party processors to operate the Service. Each processes data only as needed to provide its function and under its own privacy policy:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database (Firestore), file storage, cloud messaging, and web hosting
• Google AdMob / Google Ad Manager — advertising on mobile and web
• RevenueCat — in-app purchase and subscription management on iOS and Android
• Stripe — payment processing for web purchases
• football-data.org — match fixtures and live results only; we do not share any of your personal data with this provider

4. Advertising Consent (ATT and GDPR)

On Apple devices, we use Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. We will ask for your permission before any tracking that requires it, and you can change your choice at any time in your device's privacy settings.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region requiring it, we present a consent message powered by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) so you can choose how your data is used for personalized advertising. You can change or withdraw your advertising consent at any time.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. Purchase records may be retained longer where required for tax, accounting, or legal compliance. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data as described in the next section, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), or similar laws, including the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing, including personalized advertising
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

We do not sell your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, use the in-app account deletion described below or contact us at support@ixian-labs.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your account directly from within the app under Settings. Deleting your account removes your authentication record and your personal data from our Firestore database. If you are unable to access the app, you can request deletion by emailing support@ixian-labs.com from the email address associated with your account.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@ixian-labs.com and we will take steps to delete it.

9. Security

We use Google Firebase's managed infrastructure, which encrypts data in transit and at rest, and we apply access controls to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Data Transfers

Our service providers may process and store data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, these transfers are carried out using appropriate safeguards provided by the relevant processor.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
